LUNA Fête 2020 | Hope & Healing
In a year unlike any other, LUNA Fête shown bright.
Despite the challenges of 2020 we knew the creativity, imagination, and artistry that make up the spirit of New Orleans remained and provide a beacon of hope and healing for our future. In 2020, LUNA Fête was celebrated differently, with smaller installations illuminating public spaces from across various corners of the city as we welcome new partners across multiple weekends. Installations hours were expanded to account for social distancing and locations in public parks, plazas, and along motorways to provide easy access for safe, socially distanced viewing. Funds for Luna Fête exclusively support local artists and live event workers - those amount the most hardest hit financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
